Η Τουρκία κατέρριψε συριακό πολεμικό αεροσκάφος L 39 στο Idlib, κοντά στο Μααρετ Νιούμαν . Το αεροσκάφος χτυπήθηκε από πύραυλο αέρος αέρος που εκτοξεύθηκε από τουρκικό αεροσκάφος F16.
