A spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Brigadier General Ramadan Sharif, has threatened Washington that the response to the assassination of the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani “will be horrific.”
The official television quoted Sharif as saying, today, Friday, “The Americans should be reassured that the response will be terrible for them for this crime.”
He continued, “The Revolutionary Guards and all anti-American forces will take revenge on Soleimani throughout the Islamic world.”
“The Revolutionary Guard begins today a new chapter in its confrontation with enemies,” the Iranian general added.
